My Review:

I was drawn into this book immediately and found myself unwilling to put it down.  This story was so engrossing with its blend of mystery, suspense and romance.  Kate is a survivor of a brutal serial killer and has been running and hiding from him since her ordeal.  Agent Hayden Reed is a special agent who is intent on stopping the Broadcast Butcher and knows Kate is the key to stopping the murders.  This story was so well written and entertaining as who found yourself trying to solve the mystery as each clue is revealed.  The relationship between Kate and Hayden was slowly built on trust and compassion.  Kate needed the closure that working with him could give her while Hayden needed to emotionally heal and protect her and, in a way, himself.  This book took me on a fantastic journey and even while I felt a wide range of emotions, I found myself loving the ride.   I highly recommend this book for readers who love a fantastic suspenseful tale with a dash of romance. This is the first book in the series and I am looking forward to the next book, The Buried.~Booklover Sue(a copy was provided for an honest review)
